"First field test of my Teepee with stove jack February 16, 2020. I flew into Hells Canyon and landed on the Idaho side for a solo predator hunt. The weather ranged from relentless winds, snow, rain, and sunshine the day I flew out.
The Tentsme Teepee withstood all of the elements and having a stove was warm indeed. I like this tent fabric better than canvas tents, and I stayed dry and warm. That said with a stove, and one cot it becomes a one-man tent. I would definitely purchase a tent twice this size made in the same material ,and design. It's just too small for my needs. Cheers!"

"The Hex Plus is a roomy and well made hot tent. It is sturdy and has held up very well in bad weather.
Pomoly has fantastic customer service.
I’ve had concerns about the tent stakes that came with the tent. I feel that the stakes are too small and perhaps not strong enough for a large tent like the Hex Plus.
On my last trip I had to pitch the tent on icy/ hard ground. Several of the stakes bent or broke and I had to use guy line and rocks on most of the stake out points to have a successful tent set up as well as feeling safe to use my stove.
I reached out to Pomoly, sent a picture of the broken/bent stakes and without question they replaced the stakes with a bag of extremely heavy duty nail type stakes.
They are friendly and respond within 1-3 days to emails. Much appreciated.
I plan on using Pomoly for future purchases.
I also have the small Hussar hot tent and it is a fantastic shelter as well. I plan on using these hot tents for years to come."

"Great tent. I have used it 6 times in the 2 months since I got it.
Two items you need to consider for improvement. First, a more coarse zipper would be better even though it may not be as waterproof as the fine one used is difficult to handle with gloves or mitts on. And, it should not go all the way up but curve back at the top like other tipi tents I have seen and it should have dual zippers to allow opening at the top while keeping the bottom zipped (dual action).
The other issue is the inner screen tent needs to be removable while keeping the bathtub floor. It is much too restrictive inside even with the zipper door fully open. This can be done by installing short little poles in each corner of the bathtub floor to keep the sides of the bathtub up to keep any water out. I hope this helps."

"Love the fact that I can have a 4-season tent with such low weight. Yes, it is a smaller tent, but I'm still impressed with the amount of space inside of the tent.
Why am I not giving this a 5 star review?
Here's a few things that would make the tent a 5/5:
- The inner tent hangs down and it could get in your face if your sleeping mat is to high.
This could be solved with perhaps some smaller hook points for the inner to attach to the othertent.
- There's no extra ground sheet as on option for this tent.
I've bought a third-party ground sheet that I will cut to fit for this tent. A ground sheet realy helps with blocking out moisture and condensation. It also prolongs the lifespan of the inner tents floor.
Otherwise, an absolutely great tent that I'm happily going to use plenty of more times. The matter of fact that it's a light weight, 4-season tent for a great price just makes it even more awesome."

We had some tough pitches on rocky shore lines on loch ness and she took no damage thanks to the tough material. "Been a great tent. Snow or pouring rain. Stays dry.
Two people on a double camping pad and two dogs was just enough room with the wood stove. Quick and simple to set up.
Only issues I had so far is the stove jack is not big enough for a 4” stove pipe. The canvas would come into contact with the pipe. So I had to change that. But the stoves designs for this tent have a smaller pipe. So 3” or less I think would not have an issue."

"Received my Pomoly Yarn plus just a week after placing my order. A beautifully made tent that looks very durable. The new Alluminium pole is meant to be stronger than the original steel one which is a good thing, although I do wonder how it will perform in high winds as it is quite thin walled tubing. The tent warms up far quicker than my old bell tent and stays warmer for longer. The T1 Mini stove is more than adequate for cooler evenings, I will use something a little bigger for really cold weather. Improvements? Making the zips two way would be a good idea so they can be opened from the top. Also. Pegging out loops on the snow skirt would save piling stones etc on top. All in all. A really great tent that I can see lasting me many years."

"Vango Soul 200 tent. I spent 2 nights in it last year and 2 nights this August. Just before going to bed I noticed the rear pole had snapped near the end. Fortunately I was able to bodge a temporary repair, but the tent is no good without a new pole.
Vango don't offer any warranty on poles and it seems these poles are no longer available.
I have heard since of others having similar fibreglass poles breaking. Also people have said how Vango tents often leak. So I would say stay clear of Vango. They used to have a good reputation, but sadly, no more."

"This is a SERIOUS tent! And I love it . Just be aware, this is heavy duty (underline “heavy”). They are not joking when they say all season. Snow? No problem. Rain? No problem. But in the bag it weighs 60lbs so it’s not a backpackers tent to carry up a mountain. Easy to set up. My 8 yr old and I just watched the 2 min youtube video had had it up in 20 minutes the first time. Lots of room and tall ceiling. Very happy. Plus I like that everything is natural (no toxic chemicals from cheaper fire retardants- look for prop 65 warnings on other stuff). White Duck uses non toxic fire retardants and water repellents. I already deal with Parkinson’s and don’t need anything else from chemicals used on my tent. Only thing to remember is if it gets wet it has to be completely dried out before being put away or else mold n mildew will show up."
