"I have had the Bunk House for almost 2 years, camping with it about a dozen times. The good news is that it is a great glamping option for a couple. The bad news is that I'm worried about its durability, and mine is showing some life-ending problems. Read below for details, as I'm not sure if this is misuse or just product durability. As a Scoutmaster, I find myself at several campouts. And when I am at a car-campout, this is my tent. It is nice and roomy, so that I (and my wife if she comes) have room for a cot, chair and my bag and still have room to move around. The vestibule out front is like a nice little porch, and I love nothing more than to sit there, watching the patrols do their thing while I carve some wood. There are ample pockets in the corners and hanging loops on the roof for lanterns. The whole thing is tall enough for my 5'7" self to stand. The tent is super easy to put up- even for one person. If you can put up a dome tent, this is essentially the same. It is nice to have a second person to handle the rain fly, but I've done it by myself in the middle of the night without much problem. With guy-lines placed, the whole package is very effective in the wind (despite it's boxy profile) and I was very comfortable in a fall trip to Joshua Tree where it reached 30F at night with 15 - 20MPH winds. The backpack-style bag has thin straps that will bite into shoulders if you have to walk a long while, but is easy to carry from the car. This pack is really well designed, with separate compartments for tent, rainfly, stakes, and footprint (sold separately). Unfortunately, the whole system seems to have started coming apart at the seams (literally) about 2 years (and 12 camps) in. At the end of my last trip to JTree, as I was cleaning up my tent and noticed a sizable tear on the floor-panel where it curves up to meet with the walls. It isn't on the ground where it would be stepped on- but about 3 inches up. The tear runs horizontal, which leads me to think it is a stress tear from wind. And as I folded everything up to put away in the bag, the bag developed a tear in one of its pockets. I only dock one star because this guy has been such a great asset to me, and I can't rule out misuse. Did I maybe not get it fully dry on a recent trip? I don't know. But the fabric seems to have deteriorated to the point that it is as delicate as an ultra-light tent. That just doesn't seem right for such a heavy car-camping tent. With those caveats in mind, I think this tent is great for 2 people car camping or a small family. Lots of room to move around, and super easy to setup."
