1.Review from Customer "Diana":
"This Coleman stove is so well designed for convenience. Little did I know when I bought it that we would be without power for sn extended period following a surge that destroyed several appliances in our home. My Coleman has been getting a real workout. I love how easy it is to clean. The removable cast iron grill/griddle is a wonderful addition. The piezo lighter is a nice feature, but you do have to grab the stove when you push the button in because it requires some force and the stove is very light. I think I might just get a fireplace lighter instead. It takes a long time for the griddle to cool down, do if you also need to use the burners, cook on them first. The carry handle on the stove is poorly designed making it uncomfortable to use and somewhat precarious, especially with the griddle inside. The ease of cleaning makes this stove s real winner for me. So, don't let the negative comments I've brought up deter you from buying one for yourself. You may not plan to use it as much as we do, but it sure is great to have if you need to. Buy it. You'll be glad you did."
2.Review from Customer "TCamper":
"Great all purpose camp stove. This thing has great temperature control and is so easy to use. I haven’t used the griddle/grill plates yet, but they are hefty cast iron and fit snugly on the burners and I can’t wait to give them a try. I saw some other reviewers saying they had issues with getting the igniter to light. I found that the trick to this is to make sure when you push the igniter that the gas is wide open, or at least pretty close, which it states in the instructions. It won’t ignite if you push with the gas only half on. After it lights you can set the flame to whatever you need it to be. We also got this as an emergency stove and after using it camping I have no doubt it will keep us cooking and eating through just about anything."
3.Review from Customer "Kip":
"Nice compact stove with a Grill/Griddle. Great for breakfast lunch and dinner. Pancakes, burgers, hotdogs, Kebobs, corn on the cob, steak. Must watch the meat on larger pieces like steak or chops. Find a low to the ground wind protected location to keep the wind from changing the temps on you. I like a fire ring that surrounds the bottom portion and keep the wind from coming in around it. The wind guards are adequate for a steady light breeze but any gusty random wind it gets rough. I have a DIY tailgate camp kitchen that provides 360 degree protection. My one and only complaint is it has widely spaced grill work without the Griddle in place and my smaller, Revere Wear, coffee pot just barely hangs on over the burners, maybe 3/4 inch on each side. So I will probably get a wide bottom single burner Colemans with a stable surface for my morning coffee. I wanted a Triton but couldn't find one with electric igniter."
4.Review from Customer "Georgia":
"I love this stove! Just home from a 3 night camping trip in the NSW snowy mountains. This stove didn't skip a beat. Ignition lit first time eventide even in near freeing conditions. Simmered pre cooked sauce well, boiled water efficiently. Cooked pancakes and raisin toast beautifully on the hotplate. Love that it's cast iron feels so sturdy. I did pre season the cast iron got plate and griddle before using and they were amazing. I really love this stove!"
5.Review from Customer "Spicoli":
"Great value, easy to pack, and works well if you tend your meat. This grill was a big upgrade vs. charcoal or wood fires when traveling. It’s a low frequency use item, so for its role, it’s the right option. I’d buy it again.
Since the grill came with a cast iron cook surface, if you give the iron time to stabilize, the temperature distribution is pretty good. The challenge then becomes temperature management, which is tough to gauge at first. Your best bet is to watch flame size under the griddle and observe rate of surface cooking/ charring. Two options, either flip meat more often to prevent burning or turn down the burner a bit until you get acquainted with the heat output associated with knob settings. The knobs are very sensitive…small turns make a big difference.
Were I to use it dozens of times a year, I’d upgrade to a Coleman Cascade 3 in 1 for better temperature control. That’s double the price. For my needs, this is fine."
6.Review from Customer "Cindy":
"This is a gift so I am only reviewing on ordering and appearance. It looks like a great product by what I’ve seen. I have a complaint. I’m not as young as I used to be and instead of ups delivering it came usps which is awful for me. I dont get usps at my address (I really wish I could!!) because they don’t deliver here. Carrying a heavy package to my car then into my house was not what I was expecting! I know I am not alone. Post office won’t deliver to addresses within a certain distance from them which I get but when you have heavy packages for an older person it would be nice to just lift the package up from your porch. So……UPS or Fed Ex but instruct them to NOT drop off at P O!!!!"
7.Review from Customer "MOcamper24":
"Just upgraded from my 20 year old Coleman, and wow, what a difference! This is the only outdoor stove I’ve found that has meaningful temperature control on its flame - and this one will actually do a simmer. Love the cast iron burners, as well as the griddle pans (note, per other reviewers, that you need to season the griddles yourself - the only oversight on Coleman’s part). And an automatic ignition: Wonderful! Highly recommend if you want to be able to have temperature options other than full blast or off."
8.Review from Customer "Lance":
"I picked this stove up to replace a Coleman stove I had for nearly 30 years. I liked how this Cascade model had cast iron pot supports and came with cast iron griddle and grill grate. The flatter design makes it easier to store and pack with the rest of my gear. I’ve had some issues maintaining a simmer or low temps to cook. If you use regular pots and pans and not pans designed for backpacking you will be ok. Other wise this stove serves it purpose."
9.Review from Customer "Somjen11":
"This is my favourite bit of our camping equipment. Perfect size and a a great all round piece of cooking gear. The cast iron grill plates are great and being able to easily convert to a conventional stove burner gives such options to your cooking equipment. We’ve been able to cook lots of our family favourites, quickly and easily and it’s reliable and fun to cook on."
10.Review from Customer "Linda Lou":
"A great camp stove with cooking burners, a grill and a griddle made of heavy cast iron. It produces a lot of heat for cooking. The stove fits nicely in the rear of our Class B. We love it. We have two comments, however. First, the manual does not provide any information about cooking on the cast iron grill and griddle accessories. We both read the manual and I went back to double check about what to use of the grill and griddle to keep food from sticking, but there was nothing, just “don’t use abrasives to clean.” I have finally asked the question of Coleman and received a reply that both parts need to be seasoned before first use! This info should be in the manual! It’s too late for this year because we’ve already stuck foods to both parts. I clean them as best I can without using abrasives , but the response said to use SOS or steel wool…..I consider those abrasives. Second, we like to lock our stove to a fixed object to deter theft and would like some way to easily thread a small chain or cable that we could lock."
