The Oroqen appealed to me for several reasons starting with Pomoly quality. Some of the most efficient and best looking stoves out there. I wanted a stainless steel stove with a large surface area for heat & cooking. The side shelves are great for warming items. The ash tray assists with keeping the burn area maximized as well as creating a secondary draft if you pull it out a tiny bit. Admittedly I forget about the side curtain draft due to the location but a moment of darkening glass gets me back on track pretty quickly 😊

I absolutely love this stove. Ive had probably 5 burns in it now. The quality is there, the chimney pipes fit tight. The only downside is the door latch is small and would be better with a spring or something to make it easier to close and deflect heat. I would have gave it 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper and the door latch was different. Still very happy with my purchace and would recomend.

Just got mine from Amazon yesterday, looks even better in person.
Assenbled and setup was a snap, wiped down 3 times with Alcohol to remove any oils or grease and slowly burned in.
I cannot get over the high quality materials, fit and finish and a design that truly works well, to say I am impressed is an understatement!

I'm very impressed with his stove. The design is excellent and the build quality is fantastic. I've used it 15 night snow and I've had no issues with it. It functions perfectly and I expect it will last many many years. Definitely 5 stars.

Nice little stove. I purchased the ss stove because it will last longer. We do more truck camping than backpacking so there was no need for a foldable stove. This stove puts out sufficient heat and keeps the Manta teepee nice and warm.

It's a great investment and if you take care of it, it will stay in good shape. Don't make it too hot like me.

I’m very happy with my first tent wood stove.

The Oroqen stove has some great features that I was looking for: stainless steel, side tables level with stove top, side tables also used as carry handles, side tables can easily change from off to on and level to down, chimney and spark arrestor store inside when traveling, has an ash drawer and bottom ventilation, ash drawer can be opened slightly to really increase air flow, included ash scraper/fire poker, side window with amazing air curtain!

Things I wished for: that the chimney male/female joints were reversed to avoid the mess of creosote and condensation from running down and leaking out the joints, that the bag covered the front glass fully instead of just a clip, that the legs were a bit longer, that it had a baffle.

Note where your stove will be located in your tent as this stove only has one glass side for viewing and it throws off more heat than the solid wall.. You may prefer a stove like the Dweller, or one of the titanium stoves that have both side walls in glass, or one glass wall and one solid wall that is interchangeable to better fit your set-up inside your tent.

I spent quite a bit of time researching tent stoves and I believe that the Oroqen is definitely worthy of a 5 star rating. Its construction is very impressive, and appears to be very durable over the long run. Added features of adjustable draft and removable ash tray are additional bonuses. The side 'tables' are also a nice feature as they also function as carry handles. So far I am very pleased with this stove. If I has one suggestion, it would be to offer a leg extension option that would easily attach to the foldable legs and raise the overall height of the stove by several inches.

Be careful when using the stove in windy weather.
