1.Review from Customer "Josephine":

"I recommend the Arpenaz 4.1 Fresh & Black, it endured the UK Storm Antoni in August 2023, with up to 88 km per hour wind over 12 hours. The tent fabric did not rip, the poles flexed in the storm force winds. Additional 10 cm tent pegs secured the guy ropes and poles during the worst of the storm due to the sandy soil and exposed ground. The tent endured Storm Betty and other storms during the trip. One pole section incurred a small split, due to the prolonged extreme winds, we left this pole in situ with some duct tape for two weeks, note a spare pole was in the bag. The tent remained water and wind proof, it provided the best blackout sleeping experience, the well designed ventilation panels eliminated condensation and allowed good air flow giving a comfortable temperature inside. There is a window mesh vent on one side for the cooking table area - great idea. The Decathlon brand chairs, table, lamps and inflatable beds worked with the design and layout. Next time we would bring an extra mat or ground sheet for the living area to protect the ground sheet. This is a surprisingly good tent with unbelievable durability, comfort and value for money for the price."

2.Review from Customer "A":

"Bought this for Shambala Festival and I have to just say how impressed I am with our choice the Quechua Arpenaz 4 person fresh and black tent! It was windy, it rained all night and most of the day on Friday night and Saturday but the tent was our sanctuary. Always dry, always up and the dark sleeping compartment was also great for a longer lay in and there was never any condensation in the inner sleeping compartment. Very roomy for a family of 3! And super easy to put up and take down with 2 people, probably took us 10-15 minutes. You can probably assemble and disassemble with one person if there's no wind. Fits really well into the tent bag even after use and love the sown in instructions on the tent bag, which you can't loose. Looking forward to taking it camping next year! Great value for money 10/10!"

3.Review from Customer "josh":

"Not had it out in bad weather but during this spell of heat the tent works really well at making the areas inside cool, both my dogs was happy laying inside not panting at all.
This is the first big tent I’ve had and cannot believe the price and how easy it is to put up.
The only cons I really have are:
- The lantern point isn’t central (no biggie)
- the tent pegs it comes either are rubbish and would recommended getting some rock pegs in addition
- It’s one of those tents that’s easy to get out but the pack away bag it comes with is quite difficult to get back in.
Overall very happy and cannot wait to use this tent again"

4.Review from Customer "Next customer":

"We had our previous tent for about 10 years and finally decided it was time for a new one! We were not disappointed with this purchase! The tent is a great design and easy to put up (2 people). It also comes with spare sections of pole, guy ropes, bungee etc. The bedroom section is already attached to the outer so it's just a case of popping in some poles and pinning it down! It's very spacious inside and you can stand in the awning which also has space for a table and chairs. The bedroom section is also spacious. We fit a double air bed with plenty of room for our dog in his crate (realistically would comfortably fit a double and single air bed). Only downside is no fly-nets on the outer and bedroom door. We usually like to keep the bedroom section open for ventilation however this wasn't really necessary as the tent was so airy and cool inside (camping on a hot day and cooler inside than out). Towards the end of our trip the weather turned wet and windy and the tent held up well to both! We are very happy we spent the extra to purchase the 'fresh and black' version. Taking the tent down was also very simple and fit easily inside the bag (bag slightly bigger than required)."

5.Review from Customer "Paul":

"This tent did everything I expected pretty well. The most important thing for me was the blackout bedroom, which worked really well. The ventilation was ok, but I guess it drives on which way the wind is blowing. And it's certainly waterproof.

My only reservation would be it's capacity. I don't see it ever being for 4 people. I think 3 would be VERY cramped, and realistically it is perfect for 2."

6.Review from Customer "Sally":

"I bought this for me and my three kids to try camping, one of the poles was a little tricky to put in ( middle one ) but otherwise relatively simple to erect. Stayed dry though the rain and the blackout was brilliant meaning the tent didnt get too hot and the kids stayed asleep way past sunrise. Easy to pack away. I have had the 2second 2 xl for a number of years and it has lasted well, I will be very happy if this one lasts as long."

7.Review from Customer "Hannah":

"Just back from an extremely wet couple of days of camping - having never used this tent before and bearing in mind the price, we were ready to pack up and bail if needed but we stayed dry as a bone the whole time. Very impressed indeed."

8.Review from Customer "Sarah":

"Easy to assemble and put away.
Spacious
Cool inside and dark"

9.Review from Customer "D":

"I just purchased this tent, it hasn't arrived yet but it looks perfect!"

10.Review from Customer "debenhams.com Shopper":

"A quality product just right for the job and well priced"
