1.Review from Customer "Scl922":

"My wife and I took this tent on a camping trip and the dark technology was perfect for sleeping in. Our other tent from another manufacturer had me up at 7am but now I can sleep until about 10am. We love the screen room as a barrier to bugs getting into main room and to sit and relax without bothersome little pest. Also on the screenroom floor is a mesh panel to help drain any water out. This was helpful once I took tent home to clean it out. During the mid-day hours our tent stayed much cooler than our pals. We were able to relax on our Coleman cots and take a nap with the windows unzipped for a breeze. Our pals weren't as comfortable in a standard tent with dark technology. Overall I wish I hadn't wasted money on previous tent and had gotten this tent first. Comfortably fit two twin cots, gear, and two small folding chairs. Wouldn't get any other tent if there's not dark technology on it."

2.Review from Customer "LongTermCamper":

"Slept in this tent for 21 days during a work trip. One pole sleeve ripped during setup. Rain fly doesn’t cover the screened porch, so that space is unusable as storage. Came back after each rainstorm to find a pool of water on the floor of the porch because it doesn’t drain well. Getting in and out of the porch enclosure is difficult as well because there’s not a stake at the point where the three zippers meet to hold the floor down, which would create the tension needed to easily open the zippers. The dark room technology was just OK. Pretty disappointing because I’m a fan of Coleman tents. Wish I could return this one and go with a different model."

3.Review from Customer "NIGHT OWL":

"4 nights at Sequoia. Definitely not a darkroom, blocks about 50% of sunlight, allowed me to sleep comfortably till 8:30am while temperatures outside were 50 degrees outside at 6:00Am, Warning this black fabric helps warm the tent in early morning sunlight ,drawback is you will begin to bake as temperatures rise out side. Do to overnight 39 degree Temperatures outside, heavy condensation inside the tent caused dripping and dew like moisture on top of our heavy top cover blankets. Over all better venting would help, but with that would come a loss of heat. This tent is more suitable for moderate temperature camping. My biggest complaint is that one of the two matching tent we bought had a small tear in the rear window screen that my 4 year daughter found interesting enough to put her fingers through and like magic a two inch hole appeared. Going to try to get an exchange through Colman. Com where I placed my order. Hope my review was helpful."

4.Review from Customer "D Ed":

"It’s was a ok tent. But the fall back the porches screen floods no matter what. The drainage is horrible. You will get soaked. The tent leaked on the inside brand new never used. It was raining and it was leaking towards the bottom at the corners on the seams. So the inside of the tent floor was wet also. Then the side walls all leaked. The center of the tent is perfect yes to stand up but if you have a air up mattress you literally have to stay hunched over to walk around. The dark technology is a joke. It was a little darker than other tents yes but not completely dark. You could see daylight through the zippers lol and out rain fly had pin holes in it all over the place. For the price I’d pay for one of the lodge ones again or one of the square ones first. It had sweat or condensation all around the bottom of it every morning. Idk wasn’t pleased out all. Maybe a twin mattress or no mattress would be better for this tent."

5.Review from Customer "adventure16":

"This is a great durable tent, however I think it's more for 2 people. I wouldn't put 4 people in it."

6.Review from Customer "Jerry1962":

"This tent has the quality I’ve come to expect from Coleman with all of the features of a European tent - front porch, electric portal and darkroom. Easy setup that takes me 5 minutes by myself. Bright green fly and very stylish, this tent gets loads of positive comments by other campers on the campground!"

7.Review from Customer "Kit417":

"The tent is easy to set up and take down. 4 people would be tight in this. We fit two and a couple backpacks comfortable. Might upgrade to something bigger next season. Otherwise it’s well made and keeps rain out. I like the added darkness"

8.Review from Customer "Deb n campers":

"Went to Hocking hills to camp. Never tent camped before. Was surprised how easy to set up and the screen room was great as with all the wet weather in Ohio the mosquitos were out. Will tent camp again."

9.Review from Customer "Carbab":

"I’ve used this tent 4 times over the past 2 summers and it is a sturdy, easy to set up, spacious tent. The vestibule allows for extra storage space and a place for your shoes. The light blocking fabric keeps it dark inside and the rain fly is effective in keeping things dry."

10.Review from Customer "Bizzyluke23":

"I got the 8 person Carlsbad as well as the 4 person. I am so used to these I wouldn't go anywhere else at this point. I don't know if I'm going crazy or what but in both tents there was no rod for the rain fly. Other than that everything is fine. I see a lot of complaints about it leaking and things like that but if the tent is set up properly and it's tight it won't leak. If it's not tight the rain will gather in the seams and eventually yeah it's going to leak through. The waterproof floor goes up about 6 or 8 inches on all sides so as long as it's a straight down slope and not allowed to collect anywhere the rain won't get in. One thing I noticed a lot of people didn't mention was the back wall of the tent is one solid screen. There's no zip up window or any way to close it if it's super windy out. So in order to block anything out from that giant screen you would be having to put the rain fly on no matter what. It didn't bother me but I could see a lot of people going what the heck why can't I close this? It's pretty dark in there especially when you have the rain fly on in the mornings. I don't know I like it. Of course I'm pretty easy to please. I just don't know what's going on with the rain fly rod. So unless I can find a substitute it's going to just lay on there. Walmart, you know, they don't know anything. If you guys have any suggestions about that let me know. Thanks!"
