1.Review from Customer "Travis75":

"This 6-person tent has so much room! We took it camping last weekend and were able to fit two queen size air mattresses in it! The accessory pockets are great for storing cell phones. It's built sturdy, with Coleman you can never go wrong!!! Really like the screen porch for sitting outside without bugs flying around! Lots of ventilation, big size zip windows. And the dark technology keeps it cool and really dark inside like blackout curtains! Was great for taking a nap in the afternoon!"

2.Review from Customer "Babshoun":

"First off I want to say that this is a great tent, the only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I do not see how six adults could sleep comfortably in this tent. Four adults, yes that would work or even two adults with four little ones. That being said, we only have one kiddo left at home and it's only for a couple of years and then he's gone...this is a great tent for us to downsize with. When you zip up the side and front windows it does get very dark inside, even with the back open. Inside the tent, on the very top is a hook for you to hang a lantern. So nice, no more burning holes in the floor. With just two or three of us we could enjoy the inside if we had a rainy day. I also love the front porch, I have always wanted one. All we have to do is put in a couple comfy chairs and we can sit there and enjoy nature. The tent was pretty easy to put up...my husband did it in about 30 min., give or take."

3.Review from Customer "NismoZXT":

"I bought this for my two young sons and I to go camping with our Trail Life troop. It fits the three of us quite well with most of our stuff in the tent and water proof stuff out in the "screen room". In a pinch we can fit three adult camp chairs in the screen room for a bug free meal. I would be able to have more space in the tent if I packed more efficiently or left some stuff in the car, but I do not have a need to when it is just the 3 of us. We had a few rain showers on our recent camping trip and the boys were able to stand in the screen room against the tent without getting rained on (subject to the direction the rain is falling). No rain came through the seams or zippers, and the screen room's mesh strip in the floor allowed the rain to drain out with just very minor pooling. It is GREAT to have a "mud room" that is screened off from the bugs where you can take off your shoes before getting into the tent itself. I suggest putting a towel just inside the tent flap to store the shoes after stepping out of them in the screen room. The dark room fly absolutely keep the tent cooler than the outside, especially if you are not fortunate enough to have shade from trees. I was able to take an early afternoon nap without a problem thanks to the dark room fly. Cross ventilation is okay, but having 1 whole side that is a screen under the fly makes it a little hard to control the airflow. The tent is very easy to set up and break down. I am able to do it by myself if necessary with little trouble. I'm 6'1" and can stand at full height in the middle of tent. I have received many comments on having the screen room and how great it is. If Coleman makes a 10 person dark room with a screen room, I will purchase it in a heart beat. The photos don't show the darkness well because of auto white balancing, but it is considerably darker with the fly."

4.Review from Customer "Kml729":

"I absolutely love this tent!! This is the third summer using it and it has been thru strong winds, the cracking off the rain fly in the wind made me think it would be in shreds by morning.... It was perfectly fine and didn't unhook or shift anything. I love the room darkening feature and the porch! The sun isn't roasting you out in the mornings, and it's easy to sleep in. I use mine in South Dakota for two weeks in August with no shade so it is extremely hot in the sun, i like to take a nap for a couple hours till it cools off and i can do that with a couple portable fans and the windows open on the shaded sides of the tent. With my queen air mattress and all that room i can totally relax while I'm on vacation. I also like that depending on how you adjust the back rain fly over the mesh back wall you can get a breeze and fresh air from any side of the tent and still have privacy. I haven't had any rain while using it yet but i have faith it'll be just fine! I like that the three zippers of the porch all meet in one spot, i put a smaller lock thru them and feel a bit more secure than someone ducking into my tent when i leave for a few hours, or at night when i go to bed."

5.Review from Customer "Nicki34":

"I used this tent this weekend and I loved it! I liked the little floor mat before the screen room and how easy it was to put up. I’m still not sure about the back window being screen only and being unable to cover it up, but we had good weather and it was facing the trees. We didn’t have to use the rain fly yet. I did wish there was a peg to put down at the front center of the screen room to hold it down tight when you’re trying to pull the front zipper up. I also kind of wished there was a hook or net in the interior at the center top to hold a lantern like a tent I had when I was a kid."

6.Review from Customer "JJames":

"This Carlsbad 6 person tent with darkroom technology which blocks out 90% of the sunlight comes with pre-attached poles for easy setup. It has an igloo looking shape and it has a clearance of 5 1/2 feet where you can stand up in it if you're short like me. It has weathertec protection. I really like the screened-in porch on the front. It comes with a carrying case which the tent fits in tightly. The poles have a separate bag. I really like how they sewed in the instructions for setup inside the carrying case so they will never be lost. I have used Coleman camping products for years."

7.Review from Customer "Kimmi59":

"I am on my own and found the tent so easy to erect. It really does go up in seconds but of course takes a bit longer to make it secure. The dark fabric definitely helps with the heat and early morning sun not waking you up too early"

8.Review from Customer "Sam06":

"I am so pleased with this tent. It is perfect for camping and easy to assemble as well as disassemble. The black out feature is great. Makes sleeping so enjoyable and relaxing. It's tall enough to stand up and plenty of room for two air mattresses. The screened in front let's me set my chairs up and enjoy the view without the hassle of mosquitoes and flies. The dark room is perfect and it's very sturdy. I love it."

9.Review from Customer "T Barr":

"Would first like to address the "dark technology" the rain fly and the windows are black out. The rest is plain tent material. This was a rather larg disappointment upon set up. Took this tent to the tetons and this year to the Olympic national park. We had interment to constant medium rain all the way to to the tetons. While at the Olympic national parked had one night of medium rain. This last iteration of rain was Disastrous. We had water coming in in at all the seams. The underside of the rain fly was soaked. I would consider this a disposable tent at best. I give it two stars for ease of set up. The darkness was a disappointment as well as it's water resistance."

10.Review from Customer "JLMcClintock":

"I got this tent last year after outgrowing an old tent that was no longer doing the trick. I loved that this has a “porch” to store or drop shoes and dirty items so they’re not dragged into the main sleeping chamber. Sadly, I found out the disadvantage this past weekend when we were met with a torrential overnight downpour. While I stayed cozy, the front “porch” area, with only screen mesh “doors,” was soaked through, and everything I had set in there, even under the cover of the roof, was also soaked. Next time I’ll take an extra tarp to cover the area. There was also some leakage in the front two corners of the main chamber where it attached to the porch. Still love the heavy-duty aspect of this tent but would be cautious in rainy weather."

In conclusion, the Coleman Carlsbad 6 Person Tent offers an excellent combination of space, comfort, and functionality, making it a top choice for families and groups. With its easy setup, effective weather protection, and spacious interior, the Coleman Carlsbad 6 Person Tent ensures a pleasant camping experience for everyone involved.
