1.Review from Customer "Anonymous":

"So far so good. I inspected the tent upon arrival and found no defects. So this Sundome 4 came with 1 tent body, 1 rainfly, 2 tent body poles, 1 rainfly pole, 1 doormat, 2 guy out lines, and 9 stakes. I solo camp so I have plenty of room in the tent. The sleeping pad in the photo is 77 inches long and 25 inches wide and the sleeping bag is 81 inches long by 39 inches wide just to give an idea of room in the tent. 2 adults and gear would fit very comfortably in this tent and 3 adults would fit but not leave much room for gear. The tent poles, in my opinion, are a bit too small of a diameter for this size tent. I think with this Sundome 4 the poles should have been 1mm bigger in diameter. That said you wont find a better tent for the money, especially when on sale, and I am very pleased with the purchase."

2.Review from Customer "Emily987":

"I’m a first time camper preparing to take my daughter camping with her Girl Scout troop next weekend. Thank goodness I tried putting this tent up at home before arriving at the campground because it contained no stakes! We went to Walmart to get 4 stakes and had a gracious neighbor give four some more, which you do need for the rain fly and welcome mat thing. Once we had the stakes, it was easy enough to put together and we like it very much. Not sure if the stakes were left out of the package or if they simply aren’t included. If the latter, it would have been nice to know how many are required. I purchased the tent from the Coleman website."

3.Review from Customer "Rockmonkey":

"The Sundome 4 is overall a decent tent. The height is nice with kids and the floor space and slope of the walls makes for an adequate amount of space for a small family. The weight of the tent makes it only minimally suitable for backpacking, but excellent for car camping. My disappointment is in the design of the rain fly. The awning over the door does not prevent rain from dripping inside if the door is open. Otherwise the ventilation is good, set up is fairly easy with 2 people, manageable with 1 and the space provided is decent."

4.Review from Customer "kasrjs":

"We have used this tent on Quebec wilderness canoe trips and in the back yard and everything in between. It has been a durable workhorse tent. It has seen a lot of rain and never leaked. It is spacious, has head room, and is well ventilated. After many years ours is showing some wear and tear and we have looked at buying a fancier, newer tent, but they never seem to measure up. This is a great tent at a great at a great price. It is a tad on the heavy side, but when we look at backpacking tents a few pounds heavier for $350 more, we conclude that we can stand the extra 3-4 lbs. We have always used a ground cloth and have never really needed it. So we could probably leave it home and have the same overall weight as a backpacking tent."

5.Review from Customer "Ruffinit":

"We purchased two of these for a trip into villages of West Africa. They assemble very quickly and give two people plenty of room for sleeping bags and personal bags/storage. Plus, you can nearly stand up inside the tent, making entry and dressing much easier than in smaller tents. The zippers are great: they open/close easily and having two zippers means you can decide the best location for final closure. Additionally, there are no large gaps for tiny critters to fly inside. Finally, cleanup was very easy. As you can imagine, in some areas birds and bats can be be camp-mates. Thankfully, the material makes cleanup fast and easy. Most "material" comes off quickly, the rest washes off very well with a tub of water and some soap suds. One final note for those who are concerned about weight. These weigh less than 10 pounds once you remove the shipping materials.Overall, I would purchase these again and recommend them."

6.Review from Customer "Domq":

"For a 1st timer I found the set up instructions lacking on clarity the graphics don't provide enough written directions to compliment."

7.Review from Customer "Sophiecamps":

"This tent was fine for about a year but after that it stopped keeping out the rain. it started leaking on year two and by year three it rained as much inside as it did outside. I waterproof my tents every year and this is the only one that leaks. It isn't just my tent. My cousin has the same brand and model tent and it is somehow even worse. I would not suggest this tent for anything more than the occasional backyard camp on a sunny day."

8.Review from Customer "Russ B":

"On a coast to coast road trip. Great tent plenty of room for me. Incurred my first heavy rain no leaks."
