1.Review from Customer "Crystals227":

"I absolutely love this tent! It was SO easy to put together and adults can stand up easily in it. It definitely fits 6 people and has nice zipper windows so there’s no misquotes or spiders that can come in, but still gives plenty of air. There’s also a cool small opening for an extension cord, great for me when my kids are outside playing in it or if you needed a cord for something to charge. I love it!"

2.Review from Customer "Kristy76":

"I bought this tent a year ago and have used it at least once a month since. Three uses in I had a broken tent pole but Coleman quickly sent out new poles. I recently camped twice in 30 mph (or more) wind. The tent held but I had double staked it. It did bend and sway to an unsettling degree but held. I would recommend this tent. It has also proven to be waterproof in a rain storm."

3.Review from Customer "mvicky":

"I had an older version of this tent that I loved. I recently bought this one thinking it would be the same quality. Boy I was mistaken. The quality of this tent has gone way down. Very disappointed in Coleman. The hooks of the tent are now cheap plastic. The floor tarp already seems to have gotten a tiny hole in one use. I repeat in one use and not used on a very rocky terrain. The tents bag...so cheap...What happened.Sooo disappointed. Coleman focus on quality!!! Im very sad. I loved the previous version that I had bought a few years ago."

4.Review from Customer "Litchy":

"We only used this tent twice and the string holding the pole together snapped. We bought through Amazon but they have a no return on this item and we are now patiently waiting for Coleman customer service response hoping they will send us a new pole."

5.Review from Customer "Bootsie Dew":

"This is my third Coleman tent of this design over 50 years of camping. I went from a 4-person tent to a 6-person tent the second time and loved the fact that my family of four could all fit in and that my husband and I can stand up in it. Now that I am a "senior" camper, it has become a 2-person tent with two big cots and plenty of space to stow stuff away. We've stayed dry in this tent even in some pretty heavy rains and it's simple to set up and take down. I love this tent."

6.Review from Customer "TJGJR":

"My tent is the smaller version of the 6-person tent. I like the layout and size. It is easy to pitch. The rain tarp is very easy to quickly pitch, as well, should rain arrive suddenly. I think the zipper to the door could be more robust. I wish the door could be unzipped to a fully-screened door. Half-screen at this time. A story for you. The other day, I heard rumbling outside the tent at dusk. Where I camp its best to be in the tent by that time. The rain tarp was on. I got to my knees and looked out the door-screen. Two moose glided by, a calf and a cow. Then, the huge surprise, a third bull-moose followed up. He ducked under the rain tarp, peering into the tent door. We were nose-to-nose and eye-to-eye. Frightened, he fell backward and nearly rolled over before darting away. What an experience."

7.Review from Customer "Mixedchic84":

"There are 5 of us in my family and we go camping on the beach a couple times a month during the summer. Normally one or two of us sleep outside the tent because it's so tight, but not this time! We were able to blow up a full air mattress with one cot and still have space to move around. There was enough air flowing through the tent for us to feel a little breeze as well. It was easy for my teenage kids to work together and put it up with no issues. Disassembling and packing it back in the carrying bag was just as easy. It's amazing how having a lot more room in your sleeping space can make for a great camping trip."

8.Review from Customer "SamL":

"We used our Sundome for 6 camping seasons before the floor started to delaminate and a torn seam in the top of the rain fly started to leak on us. We camp 4-6 times per year with two kids. What we loved: Easy to set-up Reasonably spacious - good head height for a dome tent Very good ventalation made it great for summer and humid weather camping - we especially miss this since replacing this tent with a kelty whose rain fly is too form fitted to allow a breeze Decent years of service for the price (purchased on sale, not MSRP) The single pole fly design makes it easy to have it ready in case of rain and throw it over quickly if needed What could be better: Shock cording failed about 2 years in The door shape was hard to zip/unzip if the tension was even slightly uneven Whole tent was showing significant signs of wear about 5 years in, hard to trust at 6 years (so we replaced it) This was a good, basic family tent for intermittent car camping."

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Coleman Sundome 6 stands out as a solid and practical choice for campers in need of a spacious and easy-to-manage tent. Its user-friendly setup, ample interior space, and thoughtful design features make it a great option for family camping trips or group outings. While the Coleman Sundome 6 may not offer the advanced weather protection of higher-end models, it provides reliable performance and comfort for most moderate camping conditions. If you’re searching for a tent that combines convenience with roominess, the Coleman Sundome 6 is definitely worth considering. For your next camping adventure, the Coleman Sundome 6 could very well enhance your outdoor experience, offering a blend of practicality and value that ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the great outdoors.
