It has several ways to control the fire (and therefore heat) so you can adjust it to your liking. A neat feature is the air curtain by the glass, which keeps it nice and clean. At home I've had wood stoves and now a pellet stove and the glass on them gets dark with suit, I wish they would use the same idea on their stoves.
I did the first burn at low heat, which resulted in a nice even copper tone (make sure you don't grab thing bare hand, to avoid living fingerprint marks which will burn and stain the stove, or clean it before starting the fire).
I watched many videos and people have issues with the draft as the stove got hot, in my case, I lowered the draft knob as it was closer to the top and that seems to have solved that issue. I can control the draft at the bottom of the stove without issues.
The stove came with a lot of pipe, in order to avoid sparks catching the tent.
I haven't had any logs falling into the ground as people mention in their videos, I don't overload the stove and that helps keeping the pieces inside the burning area.
All in all, I'm really happy with the stove, oh! Being able to remove the door, in order to get rid of the last bits of ash, is very nice.
I would recommend this stove totally.
I spent the last 25 days in the backcountry of Alaska with the dome x4 tent and dweller max 2.0 wood stove and can without a doubt say they both held up extremely well against the high winds, rainy days and snowy nights. We couldn’t be more pleased as our lives, and length of our hunt depended on it.
I can assure you, you will not be disappointed with the dweller max 2.0. Miles ahead of other tent stoves in my opinion. Great product!
Sehr gute Beratung ✌🏻
