1.Review from Customer "AHP":

"This was the first piece of camping gear I bought and it's been with me for years. Boils water almost instantly which is great for having quick meals, freeze dried meals, coffee, or anything that simply requires water.
Aside from some small things such as the plastic boil indicator peeling off and the igniter being a little flimsy, the jetboil flash is a durable product that continues to this its main job.
I've tried to do some actual cooking with it such as pasta, small amounts of frying, or reheating and it is not great at it. Very quick to burn and can get food stuck at the bottom easily. However, this is not its job and if you are looking to do some proper camp cooking, there are other cook systems that do that.
Its bulkiness also isn't ideal for packing but all its components pack nicely in the pot so it stays organized.
If you are looking to boil water quickly, look no further."

2.Review from Customer "Spatch":

"Back in 2020 I rekindled my love of the backcountry after a 10 year hiatus. That Christmas my wife bought me a Jetboil Flash which took me by surprise because until that point I'd been perfectly happy with my existing stove, an MSR Pocket Rocket. But I cheerfully accepted the Flash and haven't looked back since. I've been super happy with it. It's since accompanied me on multiple backcountry trips, including three hikes on the West Coast Trail, once on the North Coast Trail, plus too-numerous-to-count shorter trips as well.
For backcountry enthusiasts, like me, who only need to boil water for freeze dried meals the Flash will fill your needs perfectly. It boils two cups of water so fast that, in many cases, by the time I've started the boil, pulled out my cutlery, torn off the top of the pouch and looked back at the pot the water is pretty much already boiling.
For more conventional cooking I'd suggest looking elsewhere. The Flash has two settings: off and full blast. There's little to no simmer control. It's really good for boiling water only, which suits my needs perfectly. Highly recommend!"

3.Review from Customer "Nick F":

"Took this for its first spin up Wheeler Peak! Cooked breakfast at the trailhead and the Jetboil quickly had the water roiling and ready to pour! Made it up to Williams lake split and used this to make a quick cup of coffee before heading to summit. Again the water was ready to go in a minute or two. On my way down I made lunch. The Jetboil Flash performed perfectly all 3 times I used it in the 37 degree, 12k foot mountain environment. The Flash got tossed in my pack and I couldn’t even tell that it was there. For ease of use, weight, and boil time I’d highly recommend this!"

4.Review from Customer "kristee.b":

"I love my jetboil flash. No need to use a lighter when you have the push start ignition. It’s light, compact and the side changes color when the water is hot. Boils water really quickly, under 3 minutes. Time can vary depending on altitude. I also use the French press accessory and make coffee with it. It comes with a lid that has strainer hole or a sipping spot. Also a measuring cup that I believe holds 2 cups which the lid will attach to for storage. I would 100% recommend!"

5.Review from Customer "WYO307":

"It brings water to a boil as advertised and everything including a small fuel canister stores nicely inside the cup. Preparing freeze dried meals and making coffee can quickly be accomplished. I bought the attachment to cook on top of it with a pan but haven't used it yet. I am concerned at how fast the small canister was used up and think cooking on this Jetboil would require carrying a lot of fuel. The Jetboil cooking attachment fits inside the cup but it fit tight and wanted to scratch the finish of the inside of the cup so I may have to carry it somewhere else. I am still happy with the purchase and it is a well made product."

6.Review from Customer "rockawilliam":

"My Jet Boil is so old, they don't even sell it anymore. This one is the closest to my version that is still available. I bought mine in 2005 and have used it on hundreds of climbs and backpacking trips. It is the only original gear I still have in my kit from when I moved west. Needless to say, this is thing works exceptionally well every single time. Sure, the starter stopped working the first or second season, but don't we all carry a lighter and matches anyway? The cup is versatile, the materials incredibly durable, and the boil time is faster and more efficient than my buddy's pocket rocket. Plus, I never need to worry about it tipping over. For me, it is worth the tiny amount of extra weight to have this in my kit. Let's see how many more decades I can get out of it!"

7.Review from Customer "Justin C":

"Usually when something seems too good to be true it is. Which is probably why it took so long for me to get one. However, that's not the case with the Jetboil. It has a permanent place in my truck now, and I'll never hunt without it. It works as described and literally anyone can use it without much thought. I've done dehydrated meals, noodles, and all the standard fair but my favorite is how it's elevated my coffee in the field. If you love coffee like I do get the French Press attachment and thank me later."

8.Review from Customer "Red Sand Desert Dwellers":

"Have you ever boiled the kettle for a breakfast coffee in the west Australian desert? It’s 3 degrees and you hover over the gas ring shivering and waiting and waiting and ……waiting. We’ll wait no more!
Our new Jetboil flash has boiling water in under 3 minutes! And there’s enough hot water for 3 mugs. Gotta love it!
It all packs down nice and tidy for light traveling and we bought the large gas cylinder to last us weeks in the WA desert. Fantastic product."

9.Review from Customer "Kenny M":

"I usually go for the more compact stove, pot setups but decided to try out a Jetboil since I always stare at them in Rei but never really thought they were worth it. While it is a bit heavier than the standard setup most of us seem to use (Toaks titanium pot and one of the various tiny stoves) it’s not a deal breaker due to how much faster it is. I’ll probably end up picking up a second one to keep in my Jeep emergency kit. I may not bring it on every single trip Due to the weight and slightly bigger bulk but it will definitely end up on plenty trips. That being said it’s far cheaper than the MSR which is a big selling point for most of us to be honest."

10.Review from Customer "Ray R":

"I needed a cook system for an upcoming trip but the Camo Jetboil my hearts desire but it was only available online and wouldn’t be delivered until after to my local store. A few days before the trip, I happened to be by another REI and stopped in for some more last minute pickups.
Just so happened that someone was returning their Camo Jetboil from an unused online order and I was happy to give that bad boy a home.
Works great and boils water ridiculously fast. The lesser amount, the faster.

I’ve made tea, coffee, cocoa, salt water (gargling), and Multiple MRE types."
